The Megapixel Myth

First things first – higher megapixel count is in no way a measure of quality of your pictures. Quality is determined by the image sensor (CCD stands for Charge Coupled Device and CMOS is Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor. They are the two most-used sensors in digital cameras.
